Apocalypse Now 11, Winnipeg Whalers 3

December 27, 2015 - It was a GoPro Christmas, as Apocalypse Now celebrated the holiday season by mounting a camera on Guido and Heimy's head. It seemed to bring out the best in the team as they harpooned the Whalers, 11-3. "The GoPro will add about 20 pounds to my svelt figure," Jeff Wrobleski said.

...the 9 goals scored in the first half is the most ever in one half. Apocalypse Now moved to the Kildonan league in the 2007-08 season and in the eight plus seasons since playing 2 halves instead of 3 periods, the most goals prviously scored in one half was 7, which was done twice; the last time on February 2, 2014 against these same Whalers. The record for the most goals in one game is 17 against the Domino Warriers in the 1989-90 season...Myron Fiks played his first game since January 11, 2015 and notched his 16th career hat trick.
