Apocalypse Now 2, Wolves 7
Morse Place  – January 23, 2008 –The Wolves were averaging just over 2 goals a game going into their first meeting against the Apocalypse Now. But after being held to just 1 goal in the first half, the Wolves took advantage of a late tripping penalty and whipped the opposition, 7-2. "Just complete breakdowns," said Apocalypse right winger, Myron Fiks when asked what caused the third-period meltdown. "We did not get aggressive on the penalty kill and they scored 3 goals. At that point the game was over." Notes: Jason Allard scored his team leading 11th goal and moved into the scoring lead with 20 points…Bryan Wiebe recorded his 50th career point with his assist on Darren Warbeck’s goal...Jim Moore and Duane Jarvis did not play.
