Apocalypse Now 5, Whiskey Jugs 3
Melrose – January 3, 2016: Michael Moore had two goals and an assist and Myron Fiks had a goal and three assists as Apocalypse Now beat the Whiskey Jugs, 5-3 on Sunday. Moore played his last game of the season as he leaves for Sweden this week. “He will be missed” Fiks said.
Slap Shots:Patrick Nikolaus played the first minute of the game for Apocalypse and then donned the Jugs jersey to play the remainder of the game with them…it was Myron Fiks’ 105th multiple point game and the 20th time he had 3 or more assists in a regular season game. The leader, Jeff Wrobleski has had 3 or more assists 23 times in his career. Guido Sever has had 3 or more assists 13 times...the last time these teams met was exactly one year ago and the Jugs won in a squeaker.
