Apocalypse Now 4, Whalers 2
Melrose - January 27, 2019: Despite the worst weather and ice conditions of the season, Apocalypse Now slipped and slided and eventually defeated the speedy Whalers 4-2 on Sunday. The Horsemen started slow with no shots in the first half but figured out the ice in the second half. Michael Moore scored the winning goal with only a couple of minutes left on the clock.
Slap Shots::Myron Fiks had a goal disallowed as the Ref didn't see it cross the line. Myron said it was the 3rd or 4th goal he has had disallowed this year. Patty Nikolaus said if not for the disallowed goals, Myron would be winning the scoring race...It was Jason Allard's 29th multi-goal game...Michael Moore returned to the lineup after visitng Egypt...Bryan Finney was playing in his 125th regular season game.
