Winnipeg Whalers slapped a point shot passed Jim Heim and salvaged a tie
against Apocalypse Now on Sunday night. “All someone had to do was hold the
bald guys stick and not let him shoot.” Jeff Wrobleski
said about the play. Slap Shots: It
was the third tie of the year for Apocalypse Now and the seventh time they have
reached that number. They have never had
4 ties in one year…Jim Heim took the team’s first penalty of the season in Game
5. The record for consecutive games without a trip to the sin bin is 8 games
