The Warriors
4, Apocalypse Now 0
Melrose – December 19, 2010 – The Warriors only needed one goal to win this game and they got it 10 seconds after the opening face-off. They coasted the rest of the way as they beat Apocalypse Now 4-0 on Sunday night. “This is embarrassing,” Apocalypse forward Guy Sever was heard muttering on the bench. “We can’t win if we can’t score.” Notes: This was the eighth time in Apocalypse Now history (27 years) that they failed to score a goal. The last time was against the Norvillians on January 10, 2010…The doctor told Myron Fiks to take it easy on his knee. “It probably isn't smart to overdo it, or I will just be back where I was in the playoffs last year, working on only one good knee,” Myron said. He will return for the next game on January 2, 2011…to see the video of Jeff tripping a guy and one of the Warrior goals, click here.
