Apocalypse Now 3, Warpigs 8
Melrose - January 22, 2023: Michael Moore rang in his 31st birthday by scoring a hat-trick. But that was the only offence Apocalypse Now could muster as they fell 8-3 to the Warpigs. Pete Tavares expressed his frustration by smashing a stick on the bench. Only thing was it wasn't his stick. "Everyone makes mistakes," he said.
Slap Shots: Michael Moore is the first and only Apocalypse Now player to record a hat-trick on his birthday. It was also his 27th career hat-trick and 9th natural one...Myron Fiks recorded his 475th career point in 231 regular season games.
