Melrose - February 5, 2023: Michael Moore came to play and scored a hat-trick before the first half was half over. His Apocalypse team was up 4-2 at the half but couldn't maintain the momentum. It was 6-5 for the Warpigs with a couple of minutes left and Kevin Brass was pulled. The Warpigs scored an empty netter but Apocalypse was able to answer with their 6th goal. The Warpigs got another empty net goal and that was the game.
Slap Shots: It was Michael Moore's 28th career hat-trick and 10th natural one. He also recorded a natural hat-trick the last time these two teams met a couple of weeks ago. It was the 4th time he has scored 5 goals or more in a game...Apocalypse Now's first goal of the game, scored by Michael Moore and assisted by Rob Moore was the 2500th goal scored in the Regular Season for Apocalypse Now.
