February 8, 2008 –Jason Allard found little to celebrate after his first
Apocalypse Now playoff game in 8 years. The Trailer Park Boys scored early in
the first half and ruined Duane Jarvis’ postseason debut with a 7-3 win over
the Apocalypse on Friday night in the opening game of the play-off tournament.
“They beat Heimie like a rented mule,” said Myron
Fiks who contributed a goal and 2 assists in a losing cause. Slap Shots: With his 3 points, Fiks now has 30 career
play-off points and moves past Gary Ledrew into fifth
place on the all-time list…Guido Sever returned to the lineup after missing the
last 6 games of the regular season…Rob Moore was a healthy scratch.
