Those Guys 4, Apocalypse Now 5
Melrose – December 7, 2014 – Jeff Wrobleski put the exclamation point on a dominant night for Apocalypse Now. Wrobleski scored twice including the game winner to edge Those Guys 5-4 on an unusually warm night. “I didn’t know we were leading at the end of the game,” Wrobleski said, “I thought it was tied and wondered why we weren’t going for the win.” Late Hits: Patrick Nikolaus was playing in his 150th regular season game…Apocalypse have started the season with 2 wins. They haven’t won the first two games of a season since 2009-10. They finished that year 11-2-1…it was so warm on this night that some players were stripping down to t-shirts only.
