Apocalypse Now 4, Test Eagles 2
Melrose - December 22, 2019: Apocalypse Now were looking to rebound after a tough outing last week at Northwood, in which they fell 10-7 to the Legion of Doom. And they got it in spades with another hat trick from Michael Moore and 4 points from Myron Fiks.
Tied 2-2 at the half, the Test Eagles ran out of gas in the second half and the Horsemen capitalized with 2 goals to come away with a 4-2 win.
Slap Shots:Jeff Wrobleski was celebrating his 62nd birthday but plyed like a 40 year old...Michael Moore recorded his 21th career hat trick and his 19th game opening goal. He was playing in just his 52nd game...It was the 38th time that Myron has recorded 4 or more points in a game...This was the 4th meeting between these teams over the last couple of years and the first time that Apocalypse Now came away with a victory.
