Melrose - February 17, 2019: Apocalypse Now knew that the Swafflers were going to be tough to beat but powered by the 2 goals and 2 assists from Jason Allard, they pulled off a 4-2 upset win. The Swaffler goalie faced countless shots but couldn't handle them all as his team faded in the second half. At the other end, Jim Heim was spectacular when he had to be.
Slap Shots:It ws Allard's 6th mult-goal playoff game. It was his 2nd playoff game winning goal. The first was in overtime vs. the Sweathogs in 2017...Guy Sever was playing in his 70th playoff game for Apocalypse Now. He has 73 points and 70 penalty minutes.
