Apocalypse Now 6, Ratz 5

Melrose - February 10, 2019: Apocalypse Now was looking for revenge for a loss in the B-side final on February 21, 2010 at the hands of the Ratz. Apocalypse took an early 2-0 lead but the Ratz stormed back with 4 unanswered goals. It looked grim for a few minutes but the big line of Myron Fiks, Michael Moore and Jason Allard were determined to put the puck in the net and did to come away with a 6-5 win. "It could have been called the Game of Warnings" Goalie Jim Heim said referring to all the warnings that Referee Paul Correia gave out. Slap Shots::Myron Fiks' Playoff Hat Trick was the 4th in his career which ties the playoff record with Pete Pearson. There have been 23 Hat Tricks in the Playoffs. Myron now has 50 playoff goals in 54 playoff games...Jim Heim has played in 76 playoff games and has a record of 38 wins and 38 losses...Bryan Wiebe had a scare when he thought he lost his jersey at the Beer Gardens. It turned up though when he took his jacket off and he was wearing it.
