Apocalypse Now 5, Ratz 1
Melrose – January 10, 2016 – Apocalypse Now followed up an embarrassing 5-1 loss to the Brown Stars with a 5-1 blowout victory over the Ratz on Sunday night. According to the players, their form in this game was more representative of the club’s true talent level. “That’s the way we’re used to playing.” said Apocalypse defenseman Bryan Finney.
Slap Shots:Jim Moore ended the longest goal drought of his career. He went 10 games without a goal. His longest previous drought was 8 games in the 2007-08 season… Jim Heim took a tripping penalty in the second half. It was his first penalty since the 2011-12 season; a span of 55 games played.
