January 17, 2010 –Apocalypse Now took advantage of the Ratz who had to borrow a couple of guys from WBC United and routed them 6-1. It was a battle for second place in the division which the Ratz occupied prior to the game.The Apocalpse six-goal outburst did not start until the second half when Patrick Nikolaus scored his first goal of the season and twentieth of his career with a quick shot from the middle of the right circle. “Patty played great tonight” Jim Heim said.The Ratz scored with 4 minutes remaining to ruin Hiemie's bid at two shut-outs in a row. Shots: The Ratz had only 13 goals scored against them in their first eight games. There was obvious shock on their faces after giving up 6 tonight...The Apocalypse goalscoring race continues as Myron Fiks, Jason Allard and Guy Sever all have 8 goals this year...…With his 3 points, Jason Allard now has 59 career points and moves past Don Price and Mike Keating into 16th place on the all time career scoring list....Heim was awarded the assist on Sever's goal. It was his first point since the 1999-2000 season, 10 years ago.
