Valley Gardens – February 1, 2015 –Apocalypse Now wanted to end a difficult season on a high note. Unable to pick up a win in their last eight games, Michael Moore’s 2 goals lifted Apocalypse Now past the Ratz in the season finale. “It’s nice to go into the playoffs with a win.” Moore said. Slap Shots: Apocalypse Now has a 5-3-1 record against the Ratz. This win makes up for the terrible 9-1 pummeling that they stomached last year…Bryan Wiebe went another year without taking a penalty. He hasn’t taken a penalty in 8 years regular or post season, since he took 2 penalties in a 1-0 shoot out win in the 2006-07 playoffs…Michael Moore wins the team scoring title with 28 points. He has scored 20 goals or more, three years in a row which has never been accomplished by any other player.
