Apocalypse 2, The Ratz 0

Melrose (TICKER) – December 27, 2009 – Jim Heim, the Apocalypse Now Shut-out King was overworked but solid with a multiple save performance to provide the Horsemen with their first shutout of the season and the seventh of his career. “There were a lot of shots,” Heim said as his body was twitching after the onslaught, “but I was able to see most of them.” Myron Fiks scored half-way through the first half on a feed from Guy Sever and Rob Moore scored the insurance goal late in the second half as the Apocalypse team remains unbeaten on the year. Slapshots:Rob Moore is currently on a 4 game points streak which is his longest since the 2002-03 season…The last time Apocalypse Now won their first four games of the season was in the 2001-02 season. They went on to win every game that year only to choke in the play-offs… BONUS: to see the highlights of the game, Click Here Unfortunately, no goals were filmed as the cameraman was on the ice for both goals.
