Melrose – January 17, 2016: After a fast start by the Preds, Apocalypse Now caught fire in the second half but ran out of time and lost 8-3 on Sunday night. “We didn’t quit,” Patrick Nikolaus who had the 9th multi-goal regular season game of his career said.
Slap Shots:The last time Jeff Wrobleski missed a regular season game was back in 2008-09, a streak of 93 games. He had a well deserved night off to rest in Cuba…the current Ironman on the team is Rob Moore who hasn’t missed a regular season game in the last 108…Nikolaus moved past Rob Burnett into 13th place in all-time scoring.
