Valley Gardens - February 11, 2018: Old rivals got together on Sunday afternoon for the B-side battle. Unfortunately for Apocalypse Now, they started slow and let in 3 quick goals. They had plenty of time to get back in the game but couldn't recover and ended up losing a disappointing game, 5-2 to the Pylons.
Slap Shots::Jim Heim has now played in 67 consecutive playoff games; one away from the record of 68 held by Rob Moore...Guido Sever's assist was his 70th career playoff point...Wings and beer were shared with the Pylons at the Pony afterward as the teams reminisced about past games. Bryan Wiebe was in Mexico so he wasn't there to pound back wings and talk about holding out for a better contract next year. Pete Tavares may have been with him.
