Apocalypse Now 7, Bone Smugglers 4
Valley Gardens - February 12, 2017: Apocalypse Now rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Bone Smugglers 7-4 on Sunday afternoon. The Smugglers took an early 2-0 lead as the capitalized on a Foghorn penalty call against Jason Allard. Allard redeamed himself with a quick goal on his release from the sin bin and the comeback was on. He also scored 2 empty net goals to get his first playoff hat trick.
Slap Shots:: Apocalypse Now has made it to the second week of the playoffs 6 times in the last 8 years…Bryan Wiebe’s goal was the 10th playoff goal of his career.
