Outlaws 2, Apocalypse Now 4

Melrose: February 9, 2013 – Michael Moore scored his first ever playoff goal to lead Apocalypse Now over the Outlaws 4-2 on Saturday night.  Myron Fiks scored twice including an empty netter to clinch the win. ''It was a great effort by everybody and everyone was chipping in and doing their job and they got rewarded for it,'' Jim Heim said after collecting his team record 27th playoff victory.  Slap Shots: With his assist, Bryan Finney moved into a tie with Jeff Solylo for 12th place in all-time playoff scoring…it has been 22 years since these teams last met in back to back games in the 1990-91 season. One of them told Heim, that as it is with Apocalypse, there are only a couple of original members left on the team.
