Chalmers– December 28, 2008 – It was obvious that Apocalypse Now had
a good bit of rink rust after a seven-day layoff over the holidays. Their legs were heavy and their passes weren’t
crisp as they fell 6-3 to the Norvillians. “We normally outscore our opponent in the
second half of the game,” said Jim Moore, who returned to the line-up after
fighting off a cold. “Tonight we just sucked.”
Notes: With his 2 goals, Guy Sever moved
passed Joe Moore into second place on the career point list with 294 points.…Jeff
Wrobleski added to his unreachable total of 507 career
points with an assist on Guido’s second goal….Wrobo
is on pace this year to score less than 10 points in a season. The last time
that happened was in the inaugural season 1983-84 when he scored 5 points in 9
games.
