Apocalypse Now 3, Morning Wood 2
Melrose - January 13, 2017:For the second straight game, Apocalypse Now came out strong in the first half and played good defense in the second half to win a close one, 3-2. The Morning Wood made a push at the end but Jim Heim stood tall and stopped everything coming his way late in the game.
Slap Shots:Bryan Finney's goal was his first game winning goal of his career. It was assisted by another Bryan (Wiebe)...Patrick Nikolaus scored his team leading 6th goal of the year. He needs 3 more to reach his career high of nine.
