Melrose - February 5, 2017: Apocalypse Now came into Sunday morning's game hoping to end the regular season on a hot note against the flacid Morning Wood who have only won 2 games this season. (2-10-0). Myron Fiks got the game started off with a twisted wrister from the slot and never looked back. At the end of the day, he lit the lamp 4 times. Final score – 6-3
Slap Shots:: Patrick Nikolaus scored his 50th career goal. It was a great way to complete a career year for goals for him.. It was a legendary goal as Jim hit the 300 point milestone with his assist on Nikolaus' goal. He becomes only the 4th player in Apocalypse Now history to reach the 300 point mark...It was Fik's 17th hat trick of his career and the 5th time he has scored 4 or more goals.
