Apocalypse Now 4, Misfits 3
Melrose - February 4, 2018: The regular season came to an end on Sunday morning as Apocalypse Now dashed the dreams of the Misfits who were trying desperately to end a season long winless streak. For a while, it looked like it might happen but Myron Fiks took matters into his own frozen hands and scored to two late goals to secure the 4-3 win. The Misfits ended the season with a record of 0-12-2.
Slap Shots:We're not sure if there is any relation, but Apocalypse Now played a team called the Misfits in the 1986-87 season...Myron Fiks won the scoring race with 34 points. It is his 7th scoring title and one point shy of his career high 35 points in a season...Rob Moore won the wing bet with Jim (6 pts to 5 pts) and Jim paid up at the Pony...Bryan Wiebe was enroute to Mexico so missed the end of season celebration at the Pony.
