Melrose - January 26, 2020: Michael Moore scored his second straight hat-trick and led Apocalypse Now to a 7-3 win over the lowly Misfits. Guido Sever got the offensive party started 2 minutes into the game, ripping a shot past the goalie for his 2nd of the season. "Everyone contributed today," Sever said at the Pony Corral.
Slap Shots:Sever scored 2 goals including the game opener. It was his 42nd game opening goal and the 64th time he has scored 2 or more goals in a regular season game...with his 5th hat-trick of the year, Michael Moore ties Sever's record of 24 career regular season hat-tricks...Tristan Carson returned from the the West Coast and notched an assist in his 125th career regular season game...it was the second straight game that the Horsemen did not allow a goal in the second half.
