Melrose - December 17, 2017: It was another game opening goal by Rob Moore, who picked the top shelf on the farside right under the crossbar. Again Finney drew the assist in the new dynamic dual pairing. Myron Fiks was playing in his first game of the season and redirected a Pete Tavares point shot into the Misfit net to give the Apocalypse a seemingly insurmountable lead. The Misfits mounted a comeback however, and scored 3 goals in the second half, the last one with less than a minute left to secure a 3-3 tie.
Slap Shots:: Bryan Finney's assist gives him 50 career points.
