Apocalypse Now 5, Mad Agents 2
Melrose - January 6, 2019: Apocalypse Now came out on Sunday to settle the score against a team that has had their number in the past. The last time these teams played, all Hell broke loose and several payers were suspended. This time, the Horsemen focused on the task at hand and ended up with a well deserved 5-2 victory. The Mad Agent goalie, Richard Tuominen was seen at the "Pony" after the game and was not himself. He seemed to blame his team for the loss saying “I didn’t have a chance on 2 of those goals”. Bryan Wiebe reminded him that he had scored the winning goal.
Slap Shots: Jason Allard scored 2 goals and broke the record held by Jeff Wrobleski and Bryan Wiebe for the Most Consecutive Games With Goals From The Start Of A Season. He has scored in all 7 games...Pete took an elbow to the nose and was gushing blood. It is now swollen and Tim Hunterish but he should be okay. He also took his first ever penalty...Jeff Wrobleski was sitting out with a lower body injury but remained on the bench and coached the team to the win...Wiebe was also attempting to set a record for the Most Consecutive Order of Wings in a Season but that also came to an end due to a mouth injury. More on that in the second game of the double header...
