Northwood – January 25, 2015. Michael Moore notched his second hat trick of the year and fourteenth of his career in a losing cause as the Knights came from behind to beat Apocalypse 7-5. “We were just worn out” Moore said, “It was a tough loss.” The Knights ended it with an empty netter. Slapshots: Patrick Nikolaus scored twice including the game opener. It was the eighth multi-goal game of his career. He has one hat trick against the Golden Geeks on January 2, 2011. He is currently riding a 5 game point streak; the second longest of his career…Apocalypse Now has allowed 3 empty net goals this year which is a tie (1984-85) for the second most in a year. The record for the most empty net goals allowed in a season is an unbreakable 13. It happened in 1992-93 mainly due to a game against the Melrose Missiles which was played without a goalie and 9 empty net goals were scored.
