Apocalypse Now 8, Fighting Fire Hydrants 1
Tyndall Park - January 14, 2018: It was heralded as the return of Michael Moore. After missing an entire year and 27 games, Moore was back to pick up where he left off. Unfortunately, he is still recovering from a broken hand and had some trouble holding onto his stick. But it was Myron Fiks who stole the show and scored 5 goals and his 18th career hat trick to help Apocalypse Now defeat the Fighting Fire Hydrants, 8-1.
Slap Shots:: It was the second time in Fiks' career that he scored his career high 5 goals in a game. The last time was on January 20, 2006 against the War Party. Fiks also surpassed the 400 point mark in his career...Jeff Wrobleski had a goal and 3 assists. It was the 25th 4 point game of his career...Guido Sever was out with an upper body injury.
