Melrose(TICKER) –
January 10, 2010 – Shut-outs are hard to come by in Sponge Hockey, especially
against the Hump Backs. Jim Heim made several saves for his second shut-out of
the season and led Apocalypse Now to a 3-0 victory on Sunday. The Hump Backs
were averaging over 5 goals a game prior to choking on the Heim Licker. Slap
Shots: Jim Moore was playing in his 200th career regular season game…Heim
matched his career best of 2 shut-outs in a season which is the Apocalypse
record shared with Kerry
Fisher.. He also extended his Apocalypse record by posting career shutout
No. 8.
