Apocalypse Now 5, Fighting Fire Hydrants 2
Valley Gardens - January 15, 2023: Apocalypse Now was desperate for a win after dropping 2 games in a row which included a 3-0 loss to the Fire Hydrants last Sunday. It was payback time. Myron Fiks returned to the lineup after missing the entire 2021-22 season and recorded a goal and an assist to help lift his team to a 5-2 hard fought win. "We got off to a good start today," Jason Allard said. He had 2 goals including his 13th career game winner.
Slap Shots: It was the 27th time that Allard has scored the game opening goal...Injured Patrick Nikolaus was a welcome addition to the bench as he coached the team to it's second win of the season.
