Apocalypse Now 1, Fighting Fire Hydrants 3
Melrose - January 20, 2019: The bruised and battered Apocalypse Now were only playing one game and it was under a Super Blood Wolf Moon. Despite a celestial performance, they showed their dark side and were unable to solve the Fighting Fire Hydrant goalie and lost 3-1. Guido Sever scored the only Apocalypse goal on a nice feed from Jason Allard. The Fire Hydrants scored an empty netter as Apocalypse desperately tried to get the equalizer with the extra attacker. The Horsemen have now lost 2 games in a row and 3 of their last 4.
Slap Shots: The assist on Sever's goal was the 99th for Allard in the Regular Season...three players were held off the scoresheet for the first time this year. Myron Fiks, Patrick Nikolaus and Jeff Wrobleski had all managed to put points on the board in the previous games they played.
