Apocalypse Now 11, Empties 2
Valley Gardens - February 14, 2016:Apocalypse Now came out flying and laid waste to the Empties, 11-2 in C-Side playoff action. Smelling blood in the water, the Horsemen went up 6-1 at the end of the first period. Another odd-man rush resulted in the puck being buried behind the Empties Goaltender another 5 times before the game mercilessly ended.
Slap Shots:The 11 goals was the 2nd highest in playoff history; the 1989-90 team scored 16 goals against the Kings...it was Rob Moore's first career playoff hat trick in 97 playoff games...it was Myron's 3rd career playoff hat trick; the record is 4 hat tricks by Pete Pearson...this was Apocalypse Now's 50th playoff win since its inception.
