The Club 11, Apocalypse Now 6
Melrose – January 18, 2015 –After winning
their first five games, Apocalypse Now have entered a tail spin with no wins in
their last 6 games. The fanbase’s patience is
beginning to wear thin. It was another tough loss on Sunday night in the second
game of a double-header. Apocalypse Now tried to keep
it close but couldn’t stop the onslaught and ended up losing 11-6 to the Club. Slap Shots: Guido Sever had two points
including his first goal of the season and became the second player in
Apocalypse Now history to hit the 400 point mark in his career. In 209 career
regular season games, he is averaging 1.91 points per game... Jim Heim’s goals against average went from
2.77 to 4.27 as a total of 22 goals were scored on him in the two games…Jeff Wrobleski has a 3 games point streak.
