Apocalypse Now 9, Clockwork Orange 3

Morse Place – December 20, 2009 – Myron Fiks made his Apocalypse Now season debut a memorable one as he scored twice and added four assists on the way to a 9-3 crushing of Clockwork Orange. The first half ended with a 3-3 tie but Apocalypse stormed ahead in the second half with six unanswered goals. “We exacted a little revenge for last year’s play-offs” Jason Allard said. Notes: Apocalypse also had a six goal margin of victory against Clockwork Orange in the 2002-03 season when they won 7-1… It was almost a year ago to the day, the last time Fiks scored six points in a game. On December 21, 2008 against the Ramrods, he also scored twice and added four assists. Fiks has now had six six-point games in his career. He has one seven point game in 2006-07 against the B’Z… Jay Young was called up at the last minute and contributed a goal and an assist in his first spongie game… Allard’s assist gave him 50 career points.
