Melrose – December 23, 2012 –Last year, Jim Heim and Apocalypse Now shut out the Beer Bellies and Michael Moore netted his first hat trick. It was déjà-vu all over again as Moore notched his second career hat-trick and Jim Heim picked up his 12th career shut-out in an 8-0 waxing of the Bellies. “It was important for us to get our first win of the year,” Jason Allard said. “We need some momentum.”
Late Hits: This was the 20th time that these two teams have met in regular season play. Apocalypse Now improved their record to 12-7-1 with 114 goals for and 96 against...Patrick Nkolaus was playing in his 125th regular season game…Allison Moore was called up at the last minute and played her first game for Apocalypse Now.
