However, as the game progressed, the Wheat Kings found their rhythm, launching a determined comeback effort resulting in a nail-biting finish. The Apocalypse held on, narrowly escaping with a 7-6 victory. "I was on the edge of my seat," Jim Heim said afterwards. Slap Shots: With seconds counting down in the first half, Riley Colpitts took a desperation shot from inside his own blueline that sailed through the air and past the Wheatie goalie. There were chuckles all around...Steve Doh scored his first ever sponge hockey goal on a nifty pass from Michael Moore...it was Moore's 30 hat-trick of his career and the 13th time he has scored 4 or more goals in a game...Jason Allard had 3 assists and has now passed the 300 point mark in his career.
