Apocalypse Now 2, Stunned Squad 7
Melrose - January 21, 2024: Apocalypse Now knew they had no chance against the first division Stunned Squad but showed up in full force and gave it their best effort. The Stunned Goalie tried his best to be cocky and arrogant but got beat like a rented mule on a couple of occasions. In the end it was a respectable 7-2 loss for the proud Apocalypse team.
Slap Shots: The last time these teams met was in the first round of the 2019 playoffs which also resulted in a Stunned win...it was Jason Allard's birthday and he scored his 4th goal of the season to celebrate...It is Michael Moore's birthday tomorrow and he scored his 13th goal to celebrate...it was alumni night at the Pony as Bryan Wiebe came by to reminisce about the good old spongee days
