Chalmers – December 21, 2008 – At this time of the year, the holiday season and gift-giving time is upon us. Apocalypse Now received a gift in the form of a much needed win. Sparked by the return of Myron Fiks, they struck early and often and came away with a 7-2 victory over the Ramrods. Fiks led the way with 2 goals and 4 assists. “I should have got a couple more goals,” he grumbled after the game. Notes: Fiks, Bryan Wiebe and Rob Moore all scored their first goals of the season…Fiks’ game winning goal was the 15^th of his career. Only Jeff Wrobleski has more (27)…Jeff Wrobleski celebrates his 51^st birthday tomorrow.
