Apocalypse Now 8, Norvillians 3
Melrose – February 3, 2013: Apocalypse Now continued their high-scoring ways. Michael Moore had another hat trick and two assists to lead the Horsemen past the Norvillians 8-3 on Sunday afternoon. “We’ve got a lot of guys hungry for goals,” Moore said. Apocalypse also got goals from Jim Moore (two), Bryan Finney, Jason Allard and Guido Sever. Sever also added three assists. Apocalypse Now have scored 5 or more goals in eleven consecutive games. “You just try to ride the wave.” Sever said.
Slap Shots:
Jim Moore’s first goal was the 2000th regular season goal for Apocalypse Now, celebrating their 30th season…Myron Fiks and Bryan Wiebe were missing from the line-up, but hope to be back for the play-offs…after missing the last two games with an undisclosed lower body injury; Sever came back with his biggest offensive output of the season… Finney’s goal was the 10th of his career... to see Tristan Carlson go ass over tea kettle click here
