1992-93

The tenth anniversary season was the worst in franchise history. Only two wins and a measly 41 goals were scored all year. Rob Moore scored both game winners. As the losses piled up, Jeff Solylo and Gary LeDrew decided that they had had enough. In the quick two game playoff elimination, Gary scored his last goal, his 103rd in 140 season and playoff games. Jeff left the team while in fourth place for all-time scoring, Gary in second.

On the bright side, the Kostal brothers brought a new vitality to the ‘after-spongee’ drinking and card-playing. The two new Jims must have wondered what they were getting into, playing spongee with these hung-over, drunk dinosaurs. They probably still wonder.
