2018-19

The 2018-19 Apocalypse Now season was a good one. They finished the year with a 9-3-2 record and 20 points. It was only the 7th time that they hit the 20 point mark in 36 years. They went on to win their last 4 playoff games and the B-Side Championship Title. Jeff Wrobleski led the team in the Final against the Dawg Pound with a hat trick. It was the 6th Championship Title for the team. It was a career year for Jason Allard who hit career highs in goals (18), assists (14), points (32) and penalty minutes (9). He also won the scoring title.

Other notable occurrences in the season included:
• Jim Moore played in his 300th career regular season game. His season was cut short by an Achilles tendon injury.
• Bryan Wiebe took his first regular season penalty in 12 years.
• Jason Allard broke the record for the Longest Consecutive Goal Scoring Streak (12) and the Most Consecutive Goals from The Start Of A Season (8).
• Bryan Wiebe broke the record for the Most Consecutive Order of Wings at the Pony Corral. (20)
• Bryan Finney played in his 125th regular season game.
• Jim Heim finished the year with his second best goals against average – 2.78. Heim is also the current iron-man with a record setting 87 consecutive games played in goal.
• Jeff Wrobleski became the oldest player (age 61) to get a hat trick.
• Apocalypse Now hit the 500 regular season game plateau. A celebration with a cake was held at the Pony Corral.

The Play-Offs

Other than the Opening Game loss to the Stunned Squad, it was a perfect playoff season resulting in the B-Side Chamionship of Division 3.
