Apocalypse Now 5, Hulkamaniacs 4
Valley Gardens - January 15, 2023: The revitaized Guido Sever was moved from defense to left wing and was large and in charge. He recorded his first hat-trick in over 10 years and led Apocalypse Now to a 5-4 victory over the Hulkamaniacs. "It's been a long time," he said. Kevin Brass made several big stops in the second half of the game when the outcome was still very much in doubt and rookie Dave Silva scored the winner with a perfectly timed cannon from the slot which the goalie couldn't see thanks to a maze of players in front of him.
Slap Shots: It was Sever's 25th career regular season hat-trick. His last one was on December 30, 2012 versus the Golden Geeks. Michael Moore, who was supposed to make his season debut, has 26 career hat-tricks. He should be ready next Sunday.
