Apocalypse Now 6, Hugh Jammers 3
Valley Gardens - December 29, 2024: After losing their first two games of the season, Apocalypse Now shook up their roster by adding 2 rookies. Jared Beakley and Steve Doh brought a spark to the team that translated into a 6-3 win over the Hugh Jammers. Beakley and Jason Allard did all the scoring and each had a hat trick.
Slap Shots:It was Allard's 5th career hat trick and first since January 15, 2012 versus the Whalers. It was his third natural hat trick as well. He has also had one hat trick in the playoffs on February 12, 2017. It was the third time he has notched 5 or more points in a game. His best is 7 points (1 goal, 6 assists) vesus his brother Taylor and TSF in 2008...Beakley scored a hat-trick in his first game with Apocalypse. The only other player to do that was Kevin Wood in 2022...Jim Moore got an assist on the third goal. It was his first point since December 30, 2018 versus the Wheat Kings. He now has 155 goals and 155 assists in 320 games played.
