Apocalypse Now 5, Team Dixon 5

Morse Place – January 31, 2010 – This was a game in which the Apocalypse Now kept battling in spite of their sloppiness, kept on grinding right up until they lost a 5-1 lead. That's how quickly Sunday afternoon's 5-5 tie to Team Dixon turned, sending the dizzying Horsemen - who were two men short on six minutes of penalties in the final period – away with what should have been a win. “We had our opportunities” Jason Allard said. Myron Fiks rang one off the post with 10 seconds left and was visibly disappointed. Slap Shots: With his 6 minutes in penalties, Patrick Nikolaus moved passed Jeff Solylo and Mike Allard into 6^th place on the career penalty minutes list with a total of 58 minutes…Bryan Finney was playing in his 25^th game for Apocalypse Now…Fiks hit the 25 point mark for the 5^th time in his 11 year career. It is his highest point total since the 2006-07 year which was also his best with 35 points.
