Morse Place – January 25, 2009 – The players on Apocalypse Now were more dismayed by their wasted opportunities than their 6-2 loss to the first place Destroyers on Sunday night. “They scored on their breakaways, and we didn’t score on ours. We had Jason (Allard) all by himself, and didn’t finish. Rob Moore was home free on a breakaway, and didn’t finish. There’s the hockey game.” Jeff Wrobleski said. Late Hits: Guy Sever was held off the score sheet for the first time this year… Bryan Wiebe missed his first of two games due to his annual Mexican vacation.
