Apocalypse Now 3, Black Cocks 1

Valley Gardens (AP) – January 29, 2012: Michael Moore grew up dreaming of one day playing for Apocalypse Now.  The son of Apocalypse Now founder and original captain, Joe Moore, the dream came true on this Sunday afternoon. Playing in his first game, wearing an Apocalypse Now jersey number 9, the rookie Moore did not look out of place and even scored his first ever spongee goal (the insurance marker) as Apocalypse Now defeated the Black Cocks 3-1. Notes: Michael Moore’s mother attended the game…Apocalypse Now have now won 6 games in a row. The longest regular season winning streak since the 16 game streak that started in February 2001 and continued through the 2001-02 season …Apocalypse were without Myron Fiks (knee) and Patrick Nikolaus (mixed-up priorities)…to see the goal that bounced off Finney into the Apocalypse net, click here.
