Melrose - February 2, 2025: The Apocalypse jumped out to an early lead in this fast paced game and led 3-0 at the half.. The Steamers responded in the second half, lighting the lamp 5 times to take a 5-4 lead. Two of the goals were scored on a controversial 'Too Many Men' penalty. With Heimy pulled and the extra attacker on, Michael Moore scored to tie the game. Apocalypse added two more in the final minutes and snapped their 4 game losing streak with an impressive 7-5 win.
Slap Shots: The winning goal was Michael Moore's 200th career regular season goal and joins Wrobleski, Fiks and Sever in the 200-goal club. It was also his 3rd hat-trick of the season and 32st of his career.
