Melrose - February 7, 2025: The Lightning dominated the Apocalypse in a rough, chippy playoff battle, securing a decisive 7-2 victory. From the opening puck drop, tempers flared as the Lightning slashed and hacked their way to a 4-0 first half lead. The bad ref finally called a penalty on the Lightning and made it 6 minutes after something was said about the ref's mother. Apocalypse was able to score 2 powerplay goals to stay in the fight but they couldn't match the Lightning's speed and precision.
